Tau Kwa holds up well in deep-fried and stir fried dishes or for barbeques. Tau Kwa are similar to Tofu but are pressed to a sturdy form. It is commonly used in Southeast Asia used in steamboats or famously cooked with Mala.
Tau Kwa is also packed with calcium, selenium, manganese, iron, and magnesium. What it lacks in fiber it makes up for in mineral content.
